Bank of America data leak

I was reading the LA Times and there was a headline that caught my attention “Bank of America data leak destroys trust”. I don’t remember seeing any Bank of America News recently. It turns out that BOfA is just now getting around to letting its customers know that there was a leak of hundreds of customers personal information released. Here’s the kicker guess who released this information? There was a ring of BofA employees’ that gave away this confidential information to scammers, resulting in more than $10 million in losses. BofA was quoted as saying this “Bank of America knows that the security and confidentiality of customers’ information is our responsibility,” said Colleen Haggerty, a bank spokeswoman. “We absolutely apologize for this incident.” I still can’t believe that the public and BofA customer’s are still learning about this.
