Last Minute Halloween Costumes

homemadecostumeWe know that this time of year is pretty busy for parents. With Halloween parties and fall festivals, you’ve probably forgotten one important thing: your kid’s Halloween costume. Don’t worry because we’ve got you covered. Here’s our list of the easiest last minute Halloween costumes that you can make for your kids.

Flower Princess

You’ll Need:
-Headband
-Fake Flowers
-Dress
-Hot Glue Gun
– Headband

To Make:
Use the hot glue gun to glue flowers onto a headband. Lay the dress flat on a table. Glue flowers onto the front of the dress. Turn the dress over and glue flowers onto the back of the dress as well.

 

Turtle

You’ll Need:
– A Roasting Pan
– Green Spray Paint
– Green Long Sleeved Shirt
– Green Sweatpants

To Make:
Spray paint the roasting pan green and let dry. Lay the shirt onto the table with the backside facing you. Put the roasting pan on the back of the shirt with the lip of the pan touching the shirt. Use the glue gun to glue the roasting pan to the shirt.

 

Gumball Machine

You’ll Need:

– Balloons That Are Assorted Colors
– Clear, Plastic Punch Bowl
– Hot Glue Gun
– Plastic Knob
– Silver Spray Paint
– Red Shirt
-Red Pants or Shorts
– 4 inch X 4 inch Piece of Cardboard
– Black Permanent Marker

To Make:
Spray paint the cardboard and knob silver and let dry. Lay the red shirt on a table with the front facing you. Partially blow up ten balloons so that they are about the size of an orange. Place the bowl on top of the shirt about 5 inches from the neckline. The bowl should be turned over with the lip touching the shirt. Carefully place the balloons under the bowl. Use the hot glue gun to glue the bowl to the shirt. Glue the silver cardboard about 5 inches under the bowl. Glue the knob to the middle of the cardboard. Use the permanent marker to write “.25 cents” on the middle of the punch bowl.
