passover mealPassover Seder 2011 will start on Tuesday the 19th of April and will continue for 7 days until Monday, theĀ 25th of April. The Passover Seder is by definition the Jewish ritual feast that marks the exact beginning of the Jewish Holiday of Passover. The Seder ritual usually preformed in someones home and you read in the evening from the Haggadah which contains special blessings and rituals. Some of the traditional Seder customs drinking from four cups of wine, eating matza and other symbolic foods that are placed on a seder plate. Seder is a special occasion and usually it is a time that your best china and table settings are used as well as everyone dresses nicely for the event. Passover Seder is about family and passing down traditions and sharing great food. It is always important to stock up in advance if you can with kosher juice, kosher wine, parsley, Lamb, ingredients for Charoset (chopped nuts, apples, spices, and wine), and matzoh.
