Sunfest 2011 is just about 7 days away! This is the 29th year for this festival. If you don’t know already, SunFest is Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival. It is held every year in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. Their website lists that each year over 270,000 visitors attend – that is crazy! One top of always having an amazing line up of music Sunfest also has vendors selling everything from art to food. This year’s Sunfest begins Wednesday April 27 and ends Sunday May 1. This year Sunfest will host close to 50 bands over the 5 days. What makes Sunfest so unique is its location – Waterfront! Each year downtown West Palm Beach closes down the main road Flagler Drive which is right off the Intercoastal Water and transform it into stages and vendor areas.
As usual Sunfest has a family area and Kids 5 and under are FREE! Kids 6-12: $8 in advance, $10 at the gate. The Youth Park is open Friday through Sunday, and it offers fun, activities and entertainment. Make sure to take lots of Sunblock and water with you – you will need it!
