Suffering from Buyers Remorse
Buyer’s remorse is a feeling that often occurs after making a large purchase. At the time of the purchase you may be excited and even get a bit of an adrenaline rush once you have spent a large amount of money. Many times, people begin to regret the purchase and feel that they made the wrong decision. This is what we consider the definition of buyer’s remorse. So many of us are on a budget and are trying to do the best we can. Making an impulse purchase can mess it all up. It is difficult around the holidays because we try to make gift purchases based on what our loved ones would want and many times an unexpected deal gets our attention first. I often begin to second guess my purchases and start to think about the practical reasons for a purchase and how useful will the gift be and the remorse sets in. Many times we have bought things online and the quality is not what you expected and the remorse sets in. Or have you purchased something that turned out to be smaller than you expected?
Over spending on your holiday purchases is the single biggest cause for buyers remorse. This year to help curb some of the costs I went on the search for Coupon Codes online. On ShopaholicMommy we have coupons for you from the places that we like to shop to most and hope to pass some savings on to you for the holidays. Here are just a few of the coupon codes you will find on our site TOMS Coupons, Zulily Coupon Code, Kohls Coupon Code, Vistaprint Coupon Code and Crocs Coupon Code. We have also made a big push to buying from companies that give back to the community. Such as TOMS One for One program donating shoes to children in need and Crocs cares which also does the same.
Have you made any purchases this year that triggered buyers remorse? Are you second guessing some of your purchases this year? Or, maybe you are one of the 37 million people that have not even started their shopping yet! Happy Shopping!
I can totally see where this can happen. We are on such a strict budget it normally doesn’t happen too bad for us but I did buy a $45 purse over the holidays and wondered “What the heck do I need this for?” and it got returned. Great post!
I get buyers remorse everytime I buy something for myself. Since I’ve been trying to spend less, anything and everything I buy makes me wonder if I REALLY need it.
