First Day of Summer 2011

Get ready because today is the first Day of Summer Summer Solstice which turns out to be the longest day of the year. Summer Solstice results in the longest day and the shortest night of the year everywhere in the northern hemisphere. Not sure what to do on this longest day – how about a visit to a national park? What will you do today? I think we are going to take an early morning bike ride and do a little gardening followed by a visit to the craft store to stock up on craft supplies ! Enjoy the first day of summer !
