Easy Vinaigrette Recipes

There’s no need to buy several different salad dressings to store in your fridge, when you can quickly make different types of vinaigrette in just a few minutes at home.

  • Red Wine Vinaigrette:  Whisk 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard and 1 small clove chopped garlic.  Season with salt and pepper.  Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • White Wine Vinaigrette:  Whisk 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley and 1 tablespoon chopped shallot.  Season with salt and pepper.  Refrigerate until ready to use.  You can also add a clove of chopped garlic.
  • Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette:  Whisk 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard  Season with salt and pepper.  Refrigerate until ready to use.

You can use these as salad dressings or marinade for meats.
