Whether you want to go to the movies, rent or buy them, here is a list of Family Friendly Movies for this October.

Real Steel

If your boys (or men) like Transformers, Real Steel promises to be a robot movie full of action, but with heart.  Amidst the action and fighting scenes, Hugh Jackman’s character, Charlie struggles to be a better father.  The movie also stars Anthony Mackie, Kevin Durand and Evangeline Lilly. It is rated PG-13 and there is some violence in the fighting scenes.

Footloose

The young cast might excite teenagers to see this film.  Just like the original, there is small town who is highly influenced by pastor who does not allow music and dancing.  A teenager from Chicago moves into the town and starts to expose everyone to dancing and of course they love it.   The younger stars in the movie Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough are not as well known, but they are supported by Andie MacDowell, Dennis Quaid and Miles Teller.  The move is Rated PG, but Common Sense Media does not recommend for kids under 11.

Three Musketeers in 3D

The Three Musketeers must foil Richelieu’s evil plot. Starring Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich and Orlando Bloom.  Rated PG-13
